Price: $4.50 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 5 mL The Nyx Studio Liquid Liner in Extreme Gold is a semi-metallic yellow gold liner. The Studio Liquid Liners come in a small, clear package so that you can see the color inside. It has a long, thin brush applicator that can easy create a thin, subtle line. Despite Extreme Gold being a gold, it is not glittery or really metallic in its finish. I consider the finish to be semi-metallic, or just reflective. The product applies smoothly onto the lids, but is not completely opaque in one pass, as you can see in my swatches. However, since the liner dries quickly, building it up a bit is not a big deal. Nyx is my go to brand for colored liners, as they have a large color selection and they are super affordable. So no, Extreme Gold is not the most crazy pigmented liner you'll come across, but I still find myself using it all of the time. XOX ♥

Price: $7 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.06 fl oz The Nyx Vivid Brights Liquid Liners in Vivid Blossom and Vivid Escape are a bright cool toned lilac and a bright pastel chartreuse with a matte finish. The Nyx Vivid Brights liners come in a long, colored tube and have a traditional, thin brush tip. I wouldn’t call the pigmentation complete full coverage, but in most cases, you probably would not need to build up layers to achieve the color. You also do not need to put the liner over a base in order to get the color to pop on the eyes. The color does tend to fade throughout the day, but it does not do so in a patchy manner. I recommend either applying a corresponding shadow on top of the liner or just reapplying. Liquid liners are not often found in the shades of the Vivid Brights collection, so if there is that one specific, fun color you are looking for, this line could be a good place to start! XOX ♥
Price: $6.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 2.2 mL The Nyx White Liquid Liner is a bright white liquid liner with a matte finish. The White Liquid Liner comes in a long thin tube with a thin brush tip applicator. The liner applies pretty opaque, but could need a bit of building up in certain places to ensure an even line. It really looks like you are applying whiteout to the eyes, it is that bright. The product kind of flakes off when you remove it, and will also flake if you are rubbing your eyes, but other than that it lasts decently. This sounds a bit odd, but you can kind of feel the liner on your lids once it has dried. I have not experienced this with any other liquid liners, but it isn’t that bad. There really are pros and cons when it comes to this product. But, white liquid liner is probably not an everyday use kind of thing, so it should be fine on occasion. There isn’t a huge market for white liquid liners, so if you are looking for an affordable choice, the Nyx White Liquid Liner may be the one for you. XOX ♥
Price: $2.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 1 mL The Essence Super Fine Eyeliner Pen is a black liquid eyeliner with a thin felt tip applicator. The Super Fine Eyeliner Pen has a quite long and thin applicator, allowing the easy creation of a thin line. The very tip of the liner dries out quite quickly however, so you either need to apply it using the side of it, or cutting off the dried out part. As you can probably tell in the swatch pictures, this liner isn't the best for making lines that aren't straight. So, application at times can be a bit uneven. The product is pretty black, but occasionally needs a twice-over to be completely opaque. I first used this liner about two years ago and was a huge fan of it, but I'm not as much any more, so I am not sure what changed. I think I am just more of a fan of classic liquid liners, but I still would suggest trying this liner out for people that like the felt tip style. I don't find the liner to fade or smudge throughout the day, but it is not waterproof. XOX ♥
Price: $12 * Buy At: Sephora * Size: 0.085 fl oz The Sephora High Precision Long Lasting Eyeliner in Black is a matte black liquid liner with a brush tip. The High Precision Eyeliner comes in a classic liquid liner cone package and has a brush tip that comes to a point. The tip of the applicator is quite thin, which makes a precise application quite simple. This liner is Sharpie-black with only one swipe and is completely opaque. This liner could quite possibly be the blackest liner I've ever used! Unlike other liquid liners by Sephora, this one is not water resistant at all, so I wouldn't really suggest this liner to people that have trouble with liquid liner smudging on them. My skin tends to be on the dry side, so I don't have a problem with this liner lasting. If it doesn't get wet, this liner will last all day and look amazing. XOX ♥
Price: $4.49 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.17 fl oz / 5 mL The Nyx Liquid Crystal Liner in Crystal Hip is a liquid liner with a clear base and white glitter with multi color reflect. The Liquid Crystal Liners come in a thin tube and have a brush tip for application. I find that just the right amount comes off on the brush, I don't have to re-dip the brush or wipe off the excess. Crystal Hip gives a pretty look on its own, but I like to use it over an eye shadow to give it more sparkle, or over a dark eyeliner to transform the look. Crystal Hip looks really good over black liner, as you can see in the swatches. Once the liner has dried it doesn't move, but since it's glittery it will flake off if you rub it, although I did not find it to produce fall out throughout the day. XOX ♥
Price: $7.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 0.08 oz / 2.5 mL The Revlon ColorStay Skinny Liquid Liner in Black Out is a matte black liquid liner with a very skinny brush. It comes in a typical cone shaped liquid liner package. The brush of this liner is very thin, much thinner than typical liquid liners, which you can see when it's compared to the original Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner. The only downside to the liner's brush is that it is kind of long and flimsy, which can make application difficult for people that are used to shorter, stiffer applicators. It also makes drawing a line that isn't straight difficult, as you can see in the wavy swatch. The product inside is quite nice, it's very black and doesn't really need to be built up to achieve an opaque line. If you find that typical liquid liners make lines too thick for your liking, this liner would be perfect for you! XOX ♥
Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: The Nyx Collection Noir Powder Black Liner is a black powder eyeliner with the packaging of a liquid liner. This is a very unique product, and I have never seen anything like this on the market. It looks like and has the same applicator as a liquid liner, but it's a powder. The applicator is kind of like a sponge and it feels soft and applies very easily to the upper lash line without tugging or pulling on the lids. It is very pigmented and doesn't need to be built up to create an opaque line. However, the line isn't super black, which would be good for people that want a more soft and subtle line. Due to the nature of the product, it does have a bit of fallout, but I found that if you put your finger under your eye during application, the fallout shouldn't end up on the cheeks. The liner lasted on my top lid all day without fading or smudging (with an eye primer). XOX ♥
Price: $7.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 2.5 ml / 0.08 oz The Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner in Black Brown is a dark brown liquid liner with a matte finish. It has classic liquid liner packaging with a brown lid. The applicator of the ColorStay Liquid Liner is short and pretty stiff, which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your preference. I first tried the ColorStay Liquid Liner (in black) almost a year ago and was not a fan of it at first, but as I kept using it, I found it to be easier to work with it and I actually like it now. This liquid liner creates a pretty opaque line and doesn't need to be layered over to get a nice, crisp line. As far as the color goes, it is a pretty dark brown, so it's only slightly less harsh than black, and you probably wouldn't be able to see that it's brown unless you are really paying attention and looking at it up close. It doesn't claim to be, but this liner is not water resistant and will fade and possibly smear if it gets wet. I've never had an issue with it on my lids, but the swatch on my arm came off very easily with just a bit of water. XOX ♥
Price: $2.99 * Buy At: Walgreens * Size: 0.054 oz / 1.54 g I have already reviewed both colors of the Jordana Fabuliner, Brown and Black. I found that they are surprisingly close in color, so I thought I'd post a comparison. For a more in depth review and more pictures, you can find the liner's individual reviews HERE (black) and HERE (brown). It is easy to see in the swatches that the Brown and Black liners are not the same color. However, when applied on the eyes, they appear quite similar. The brown shade is slightly less harsh than the black, but they give a very similar result on the eyes. I'm not usually someone who uses brown eyeliner, but I really enjoy this one. Both shades have the same formula and ease of application and with the price being just under $3, I suggest both colors for everyone! XOX ♥
